About a year ago, worship leader Colin Dobrin asked me to join the worship team in doing the song “Redeemed to Redeem” by Austin Stone. The original song is great and features a dope spoken word piece by the unofficial new school poet laureate Propaganda. But you see, I’m still an emcee at heart. I officially retired 5 years ago, but the emcee is still in me and no real emcee is comfortable reciting someone else’s lyrics publicly. So…I wrote my own 🙂
